Mild citrus, floral, herbal
The majority of coffee growing in Laos is located at an elevation of 3,300 feet above sea level in the Bolaven Plateau. These beans are harvested and grown in a field with volcanic red earth soils located at the top end of a waterfall. Laotian coffee is preferred over Sumatran coffees because of its consistent flavor ensuring the same unique flavor throughout the year. This coffee is said to have a medium body with a combination of mild citrus, floral, and herbal tones.
