Toffee, chocolate, caramel, molasses, and blackberry
In the early 1900s, coffee was brought from Jamaica to Mount Kilum in Cameroon. The climate conditions in Cameroon, at an elevation of 7,200 feet, are ideal for coffee growing. Off note, white honey is also produced in Cameroon - and how does that relate to coffee? Well, Cameroon has a high population of bees that help with the pollination of the coffee plants. Coffee is also grown under banana trees which provide shade for the plant. The combination of these factors provides a delightful coffee with tasting notes that include a heavy body with hints of toffee, chocolate, caramel, molasses, and blackberry. Its mellow taste combined with a pleasant aroma makes for a delicious cup.
